Stratigies and tips

Stratigies: These will take you through multiple different situations.

I will refer to friends as 1, 2, 3, etc. and enemies as a, b, c, etc. These are important stratigies that will work even in bad situations. Assuming the worst, I will ALWAYS have your friends outnumbered.

Attacking a two entrance room - 4 people

This one is really fun. "Well this is easy. Just put two people at each door and burst in!" Very good stratigy. Now let me ask you something. How easy do you want to make this for the other team? It will be as easy as pie for them to shoot you if you do that, for they will doubtless have people guarding each door. Here's what you do:

Put 1 at one of the doors and 2, 3, and 4 at the other. Oh, and give 1 the gun with the best fire rate. He'll need it. I suggest the WILDFIRE. 1 bursts into the room firing off rounds at everyone and dives for cover. Let's assume he hits A. Now, think about this. If you were defending and someone with an automatic gun burst through one of the doors, would you still be looking at the other? No. So 2, 3, and 4 (they MUST time this to be only about 1-2 seconds after 1's attack if they want to get him out alive!) burst through the door. 2 dives down and opens fire, taking out B. 3 and 4 quickly move into flanking positions right and left of the door. Together, they eliminate C. If 1 is still alive, he will probably not have the floor at the time and is free to blow away D. Does E (plus maybe F, depending on how badly you're outnumbered) have a chance against 4 people who took out 4 enemies without a single casualty? Hell no.

Defending a room with two entrances - 4 people

This one can be very tricky, especially if your enemies know the above stratigy. Here's what to do: Set up a barricade that protects from both doors. Position 1 as a machine gunner (Go buy a WILDFIRE, it is well worth the price and is far superior to any other machine gun Nerf has had!) inside the barricade, and make sure he has a couple of sidearms handy, all loaded. And lots of darts. 1 will be in the heat of it all. Then put 2 and 3 next to each door with a little barricade between them and the door they AREN'T guarding. 4 should just take some good cover and be the sniper. Now, this stratigy was made to fight the above one (making stratigies to defend agaist my stratigies, I must not do enough in my spare time!) so I'll assume the enemy is using that attack. Besides, after you read this one how to defend against a standard two-two attack will be a given.

When A bursts in firing, ignore him and let 2 (We're assuming he comes in 2's door and not 3's) blow him away. And don't leave the door open (which is often a good idea), because having to burst through will throw off your enemy's aim and won't allow him to poke his gun in and take potshots. Plus he won't see your formation until it's too late. When B, C, and D come in, let 3 take out B, then before they can kill 3 have 1 (who is in the middle of the room and a good position to fire against both doors) shoot C. He could probably get D as well, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Then 4 (who may or may not be in a good firing position against this particular door) kills D. By now or soon after E and F will have come through the original door and 2 killed one of them and was then shot. 1 on 3, F will die.

Defending a one entrance room - 4 people

This one is easy. First off, keep the damned door open!!! You don't want anyone bursting in and taking you by suprise. Now, there are ups and downs to keeping the door open and closing it. I prefer to keep it open, although it allows attackers to take cover and snap off shots at you. This is why 1 must hide OUTSIDE the door with a rapid gun such as CHAINBLAZER or WILDFIRE and plenty of ammo and sidearms, such as the SECRET SHOT, WARTHOG, and LOCK N' LOAD. 2 must be inside the door in a position to cover for 1.
